Position Function:
The Revenue Manager is responsible for all matters pertaining to the end-to-end process for consumer and small business and related fees. Develop strategies to increase fee revenue by conducting market assessments (external and internal) to improve profitability, procedural/ operational efficiencies or risk mitigation. Establishes and maintains relationships with various departments and outside vendors in an effort to develop/implement new fees and improve fee revenue from existing fee income sources. Fees managed include but are not limited to fee revenue associated with small business deposits, consumer deposits, investments, Trust and miscellaneous fees and services (ex: Safe Deposit Box and wires). The Revenue Manager will also be responsible for all aspects that pertain to fees that we manage which include but are not limited to budgeting/variance reporting, revenue analysis, form management of those fees, compliance with Banking regulations and serve as the Administrator of the Bank's Fee Committee. In addition, the Revenue Manager will oversee the Analyst position within Retail Product Management and will serve in role of the Department's Analytics Supervisor to ensure accuracy of analyses created by the Department regardless of if those analyses pertain to fees.

Primary Accountabilities:
Fee Development/Management:
Develop and implement fee positioning and strategy.
Obtain approval and implement fee revenue initiatives.
Be able to quantify opportunity/financial impact after data gathering, research or other analysis and articulate recommendation via a Business Case.
Develop planning sheets for new fees/packages to include budget, cost/benefit analysis and project schedules. Provide directions to assigned analysts in Treasury to develop cost/benefit analysis.
Assist in setting and managing goals for fee revenue. Track/report on performance of fee initiatives.
Monitor fee profitability/positioning and be aware of changes in the environment (customer behavior, competition, etc.) that can impact profitability.
Monitor competitive environment -fees, product features. Assess fee competitiveness in the marketplace, seek and follow through on opportunities to increase fee revenue.
Monitor external and internal environment - problems, technological advances, economic conditions, regulatory changes and identify opportunities for change.
Manage projects to develop and implement new fees, enhance or streamline existing fees etc. This includes defining business requirements, defining customer communication requirements, and tracking results.
Manage the overall fee portfolios to ensure that our fee strategy supports the bank's overall income statement goals.
Create the budget, forecast results and be responsible for variance reporting.
Responsible for meeting Banking Laws and Regulations with regards to fees.
Responsible for the Bank's Fee Committee Administration.
Form management pertaining to fees.
Department:
Oversee the department Analyst.
Oversee data analytics within the Department and train Analyst and Product Managers on Department standards of pertaining to analyses.
Fee Revenue:
Work with the Bank's Product Managers to manage the Bank's fee revenue for all fees associated with products and services (e.g., service charges, transaction fees).
Work with sales teams and line units to develop annual fee revenue budget.
Monitor and track fee revenue results. Take correction action, as necessary, when results are falling short of budget.
Relationship Management:
Maintain relationships with sales teams, the front line, and support areas to ensure fee revenue goals are achieved.
Negotiate, execute and manage customer, vendor, and third-party vendor agreements.
Work with Training to disseminate Product Knowledge & Sales Tools well in advance of fee strategy launch/changes.
Strategic Initiatives:
Assist Department Manager in developing, plans, and implements various strategic initiatives identified by Executive Committee as priority initiatives for year. The Revenue Manager will utilize various project management skills as he/she will be working with a few to many business units across the bank as these initiatives are implemented.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Finance/ Accounting or Business or Management required
Experience:
6+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting required
3+ years of experience in banking required
3+ years of experience in team leadership OR 3 years of management experience required
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
