Job Description:

Revenue Management Coordinator

Location: Based at the corporate office in West Palm Beach, Florida, or on property in Moab, Utah.

Property: 55-Room Hotel

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Management Coordinator to optimize revenue opportunities for our 55-room property in Moab, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue management strategies, experience working with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and the ability to balance data-driven decisions with a personalized approach to the guest experience.

Must have qualifications:

  • Must be highly computer literate
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be highly proficient in channel management

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy & Optimization:

  • Implement and manage revenue strategies to maximize occupancy and ADR (Average Daily Rate) for the property.
  • Conduct regular market research to analyze competitor pricing, demand trends, and local events to inform pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with management to set room rates, package offers, and seasonal promotions.

Online Travel Agency (OTA) Management:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current OTA partners (e.g., Expedia, Booking.com).
  • Monitor OTA performance and update content, promotions, and pricing to ensure optimal visibility and conversion.
  • Audit OTA listings regularly for accuracy, relevance, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Stay updated on OTA policy changes and emerging platforms to maximize online distribution opportunities.

System Configuration & Website Maintenance:

  • Ensure all related systems, including PMS, Channel Manager, CRS, GDS, and OTA extranets, are correctly configured, validated, and operating at full capacity.
  • Regularly audit system performance and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless functionality.
  • Ensure the propertys website booking process is up-to-date, functional, and optimized for direct bookings, including rate parity with OTAs and promotional offers.

Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop accurate occupancy and revenue forecasts to support operational planning.
  • Monitor pickup and pace trends to identify opportunities and risks.

Technology & Tools:

  • Leverage hotel technology to optimize revenue management processes, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Channel Managers, Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and OTA extranets.
  • Utilize data analysis and billing tools such as Excel

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and front desk teams to ensure alignment of revenue strategies across departments.
  • Provide training and support to team members on rate structures and reservation policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OTA representatives and internal revenue-related inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years in revenue management, hospitality management, or a related field, with a focus on OTA partnerships.
  • Technical Skills: Highly computer literate, with advanced proficiency in Excel, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of hotel technology, including PMS, Channel Managers, GDS, CRS, and OTA extranets.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Market Insight: Familiarity with Utahs travel market and seasonality is a plus.
