RF Engineer Location: Chelmsford, MA Job ID: #69615 Pay Range: $75-89/hr Duration: 12 months First Shift Hours 6:00AM-4:30PMActive secret required to prior to start.Summary: * In this role the Senior RF Engineer will have the opportunity to support the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle. * The engineer will have the opportunity to design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production. * The engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative and ingenious. * The engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products. * The engineer will have an opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers on our team. * The engineer will contribute to or author proposals and may participate on business capture efforts. * The engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to include hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.Basic Qualifications: * BS degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field and 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience. * Experience with troubleshooting RF products and resolving integration issues is required. * Experience with the use of microwave test equipment is required. * Excellent communication and organization skills are required.Desired Skills: * An MS in electrical engineering or closely related technical field is desired. * Relevant experience in the defense electronics industry is desired. * Experience with RF design is desired. * Knowledge of RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits is desired. * Experience with microwave simulation tools is desired. * Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques is desired. * Knowledge of technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is desired.First Shift Hours 6:00AM-4:30PMBenefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is proud to provide an equal opportunity workplace and be an affirmative action employer.
