Job will be located in Mesa, Arizona or Morgan Hill, California. You will be part of a strong cross-functional team that has a focus on new products. We are investing in innovation, new technology, and the growth of our talent to ensure sustainable success.Key Duties and Responsibilities:The RF Product Engineer will be a key interface between the RF product line and support organizations including operations, reliability, quality, test engineering, and procurement. As the product line representative on a cross-functional team, they will ensure the setup of an effective and efficient supply chain, including the development of processes and workflows, to enable fast time to market. As such, they will interface with several internal and outsourced manufacturing and test sites across the World. Furthermore, the RF Product Engineer will ensure a smooth transition of new product into production in a market that requires very steep production ramps. They will closely monitor newly released products through the production lifecycle. In addition, with the strong background of the applicant in statistical analysis and design, they will support new product development with design of experiments (DOEs). They will define ATE characterization test plans, generate characterization reports, and perform statistical data analysis to establish production test limits. The role will expand to also entail sustaining product engineering tasks such as studies and reviews on vendor performance and quality as well as driving yield improvement and cost reduction projects.Works closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, design, operations, reliability, quality, test engineering, and procurement.Defines, identifies, manages, and streamlines processes and workflows.Statistical analysis of data for new and sustaining product, including Cpk analysis and setting of specification limits.Works with marketing, reliability and quality teams to develop reliability qualification plans.Generates characterization reports.Correlates test systems.Identifies opportunities for quality improvement, yield improvement and cost reduction.Defines and drives yield improvement and cost reduction projects.Reviews assembly documents for accuracy and design for manufacturability.Analyzes and monitors PCM and unit probe data from internal and external foundries.Manages inventory for prototype builds across several factories and projects.Travel will be required.Qualifications:BSc or MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Physics.2+ years experience in product engineering for RF components.Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.Experience collaborating with external frontend and backend manufacturing partners.Experience with DC and RF test is a plus.Strong background in statistical analysis.Proficient in the use of statistical analysis software packages such as JMP.Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, result oriented growth business.This position requires the lawful ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by United States export control laws and regulations.Highly preferred skills:Experience in product engineering of GaN-SiC power amplifiers.Experience with semiconductor quality systems.Knowledge of GaN-SiC semiconductor device physics.Experience with device failure analysis techniques.EEO:MACOM is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse workforce.
