Here we specialize in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications.DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time Winter/Spring Co-Op for Test & Validation engineering team at Andover site. As a test co-op you will be responsible for analyzing device characteristics and evaluate RF performance for down selection. You will play a critical role in understanding and documenting performance, ensuring that our products meet the necessary specifications and performance criteria.ResponsibilitiesSupport engineering activities such as test, check-out and modificationWork from schematic, diagrams, written and verbal descriptionAssist in determining methods for time reductionBuilding RF test setups and harnessesPerform RF tests, evaluating standard RF devices, including but not limited to amplifiers, filters, couplers, etc.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in electrical engineering pursuing BS or MS degreeMust have the ability to complete a 6-month Co-op term prior to graduationFamiliarity with RF bench testingMust be proactive and improve and troubleshoot test benchesKnowledge of RF test equipment: Network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, etc..Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to understand schematics and diagramsMust have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownershipUnderstanding of RF TechnologyThe typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
