The Division of Rheumatology at the Albany Medical College is seeking a full time board certified/eligible academic rheumatologist to join our dynamic practice. The qualified candidate would be academically focused with outstanding clinical skills and also may possess ultra sound certification for this position in our growing practice. In joining our faculty, the successful candidate will enjoy ample opportunities to teach medical students, residents, rheumatology fellows, and community physicians.
Albany Medical Center Hospital is a large academic hospital in the city of Albany, a level 1 trauma center, and the regional referral hub for both adult and pediatric specialties. Albany Medical College is one of the oldest private medical schools in the United states, seating approximately 145 students in each first-year class. Our rheumatology fellowship enjoys full ACGME accreditation; our fellows are trained at two outpatient sites in addition to the Albany VAMC and the main campus hospital.
