Ride Maintenance ManagerLocation: Brooklyn, NYSalary: $115K - $130K (Negotiable)Relocation Packages Available! Robust Benefits Package and other perks!About Us:Our client is an amusement park development and management company in New York City.Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain all attractions equipment and structures in excellent condition.
- Ensure high levels of guest and team member safety.
- Maximize uptime for all attractions.
- Supervise, guide, coach, and train a team of ~35 multidiscipline technicians and team leaders.
- Ensure compliance with Amusement Ride Safety Regulations and Standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.
- Review emergency procedures and conduct evacuation drills.
- Coordinate inspections with the NYC Department of Buildings.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on rides, games, and arcade equipment.
- Oversee work quality in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
- Complete preventive maintenance safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
- Manage work orders and prioritize tasks.
- Coordinate recruitment and succession planning with HR.
- Inspect all attractions and coordinate improvement actions.
- Manage the bid and award process for external contractors.
- Conduct aesthetic inspections and coordinate corrective actions.
- Report critical maintenance needs for timely resolution.
- Utilize CMMS for budgeting, planning, and scheduling.
- Audit daily CMMS entries for data accuracy.
- Maintain and audit inventory of supplies and tools.
- Ensure clean and organized storage and work areas.
- Prepare annual budgets and adhere to procurement procedures.
- Plan team schedules based on operational needs.
- Promote team training programs.
- Coordinate quality, budget, and compliance for outsourced projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
Job Requirements:
- Enthusiasm, energy, integrity, and a positive attitude.
- Teamwork-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
- 4-year degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Valid Driver's License.
- 5+ years of amusement ride or electro-mechanical equipment management experience.
- Understanding of risk management and ride safety protocols.
- Training in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, or pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CAD, and maintenance management software.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
