HDR Engineering, Inc. has an opportunity?for a Right of Way Project Manager based out of our Las Vegas office. The Right of Way Project Manager will work closely with HDR leadership to drive program growth in the area through successful execution of right of way services. The Right of Way Project Manager will provide end-to-end right of way project management for small, medium, and large or complex transportation, power, and water projects as part of HDR's cross sector services. This position will involve working as a part of standalone right of way or multi-disciplined project teams and may involve working on several projects concurrently.

In the role of Right of Way Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

* End-to-end project management for small, medium, and large and/or complex right of way projects.

* Track and manage the financial aspects of projects and participate in internal financial reviews with area leadership.

* Coordinate the work of multidisciplinary teams including internal and external resources.

* Coordinate the execution of technical tasks such as land valuation, title research, property assessments, risk analysis, negotiation and acquisition of land rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination, and utility relocation/coordination.

* Adhere to QA/QC procedures.

* Execute and deliver right of way projects within the parameters of the agreed-to contract.

* Establish and maintain positive client relationships.

* Participate in the marketing, pursuit, proposal development, and contract negotiations for new projects.

* Act as a subject matter expert for the local area right of way market.

* Maintain external visibility within the right of way industry.

Other Required Qualifications

* Valid Nevada Real Estate License, or ability to obtain.

* Valid Nevada Driver's License.

* Experience managing projects for right of way, title, utility, relocation, property management or other industry areas.

* Proficiency with federal, state, and industry laws and regulations such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC, Uniform Relocation Act, and Eminent Domain.

* Ability to review and understand technical documents including title, appraisal, environmental, and survey information.

* Strong conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to develop and lead diverse teams.

* Ability to productively work with junior, mid-, and senior level staff, clients, and property owners.

* Ability to develop client relationships, marketing plans, proposal documents, and industry presentations.

* Ability to effectively self-manage schedule and tasks.

* Ability to adhere to QA/QC procedures.

* Proficiency with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications

* Technical understanding pertaining to power, oil and gas, transportation, and water-related real estate and right of way programs.

* Possess a balanced portfolio of skills to manage and grow a multi-disciplined sector, including business development which requires networking and developing leads, establishing/managing client relationships, and strategic thinking for our clients and internal programs.

* Ability to identify and promote cross-sector opportunities, forecast market changes, and anticipate impacts to clients

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field

* 7 years related experience

* A minimum of 2 years project management experience

* Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
