BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW
Credit Review complements the Firms independent risk-management infrastructure through the independent review and ongoing monitoring of the quality of the loan and derivative portfolio. Credit Review also validates and tests Credit Risks ratings, processes and methodologies. The group reports to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and its function is independent of Credit Risks processes.
THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an outstanding candidate responsible for providing timely and effective review and challenge to retail credit portfolios, including but not limited to residential mortgages, consumer loans, credit cards, student loans, and open-ended revolving credit. The candidate will lead Credit Review team members in performing independent risk assessments of the quality of risk management for retail credit exposure.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:RESPONSIBILITIES
The Credit Review Vice President will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing objective assessments on the quality of retail credit risk management. The teams specific responsibilities include ensuring that there is timely recognition of any potential weaknesses in the retail credit portfolio, monitoring adherence to policies and procedures, and challenging underwriting criteria.
