JOB SUMMARY
The RN independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using standards of care, policy, and procedure. Provides direct nursing care, assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participates in quality improvement activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops plan that includes strategies to attain expected outcomes
- Implements the plan of care interventions and medical plan of care as appropriate
- Evaluates progress toward outcomes
- Practices ethically and integrates evidence and research findings into practice
- Communicates effectively in all areas of practice and demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting
- Utilizes appropriate resources to provide nursing services that are safe, effective, and financially responsible
QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Intermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
