Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled RN Registered Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a key member of our Case Management department, you will play a critical role in coordinating patient care and ensuring efficient bed management.Key Responsibilities Coordinate bed management systems to optimize patient flow and reduce delays in service.Communicate with clinical staff to determine patient status and bed availability.Review admissions and transfers for clinical appropriateness and medical necessity.Analyze bed management data to identify issues and potential resolutions.Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need:A diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure.3+ years of bedside nursing experience, preferably in med/surg or ICU.Strong understanding of disease processes and ability to review patient charts.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clinical staff.Why Ascension?
