Cleveland Clinic Staffing Resources (CCSR) gives you the opportunity to care for patients in various telemetry units. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide patient care through the application of sound nursing practices and procedures to patients of all ages. RNsutilizecompetency in behavioral, growth and development, and psychosocial needs of the population served.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of sound procedures and practices.
Performaccurateand complete admission assessments within definedtime frames.
Assess and document patient's pain levelsutilizingappropriate protocols.
Prioritize anddocumentpatient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
Evaluate, update and revise plans of care tofacilitateachievement of planned and expected outcomes.
Delegateappropriate componentsof the nursing care plan to other members of the nursing team.
Plan delivery of patient care in collaboration with other disciplines that promotes wellness andfacilitatesthe discharge process.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Two years recent experience in the Emergency Department.
Desire to work in differenthospitalsas needed.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
