Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Registered Nurse, RN for a Director of Nursing Services for our client an established Skilled Nursing Facility located in The Bronx, NY
The facility is conveniently located near highways and public transportation. Executive staff promote clinical best practice and career advancement. Facility provides Long Term, Short Term, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services.
The RN Director of Nursing Services to assume authority, responsibility and accountability for the functioning of the Department of Nursing Services and well as serve as a leader and role model by insuring quality and continuity of care for residents.
The DNS acts as a mentor, leader and coach for clinical staff, provides support and advocacy to patients and families. The position promotes quality and follows evidenced based best practice guidelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to work with a team of dedicated clinicians.
Qualifications:
Must be Licensed and Registered in New York State as an RN
Must have a Bachelor's of Nursing (Master's preferred)
Minimum of 5 years progressive nurse management experience (Director of Nursing in a long-term care facility setting with acute experience background required).
This is a Direct Hire position offering full time Benefits and Competitive Salary! Excellent Pension, PTO and More! $160,000 - $190,000
