A health system in Sarasota, Florida is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to join their behavioral health services team as a Director of Nursing - Behavioral Health (RN). Responsibilities: The Director of Nursing - Behavioral Health (RN) will:
- Integrate and coordinate patient centric nursing practices with a focus on service excellence.
- Develop and direct the activities of the department in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care standards.
- Supervise the Nursing leadership team to include supervisors, coordinators, managers, and the educator.
- Participate in the behavioral health administrative on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Require seven (7) years of progressive leadership and management experience in nursing with a minimum of three (3) years within behavioral health.
- Requires Masters of Science Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
- Require Board Certification in psychiatric nursing within six months of hire.
- Florida Nursing License
- Master of Science in Nursing
