Participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient care personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice according to hospital standards, procedures, and departmental objectives. This is a nonexempt position. Reports directly to the Director of the Emergency Department within the Patient Care and Nursing Division.48 hours bi-weekly, 7P-7A, rotating weekends and holidays
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Illinois license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Achieve and maintain ACLS, TNCC and ERCN within 1 year of hire
- Must complete (CPI) Crisis Prevention Institute training within one year of hire and re-certify annually
- Achieve and maintain PALS within 2 years of hire
- Biennial BLS certification
- Willing to be flexible with schedule when necessary

Offered pay rates will be determined by education, experience, and equity with current team members. Inpatient RN range is $32 to $41.82. Pay is based on years of experience.
