Join our UCLA HealthSanta Monica Medical Center Emergency Medicine team today!Salaryrange:$59.46 - $88.40 HourlyQualificationsWe're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursingprofessional with:Current valid California RN license, requiredGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree, required.Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.One year of direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting required.Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.Clinical skills include patient assessment, IV start, knowledge of medications, IV infusions and airway management.Ability to provide appropriate care for high acuity patients such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, psych, and pediatric populations.Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis.Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments.Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff.About UCLA SantaMonica:The Nethercutt Emergency Center is the cornerstone of UCLAHealth's Santa Monica Medical Center; a technologically advanced and welcoming 281-bed,4.5-acre, full-service medical campus.
