There is an emphasis in the area of occupational health. The nurse utilizes established protocols and current standards of care to meet the wide variety of health care needs of the Kaleida Health employee population.Provides nursing support to the operations of the Kaleida Health Employee Health Department. Demonstrates leadership, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply sound nursing principles. Maintains confidential records of employee data, enforces all regulatory agency requirements, and adheres to all Kaleida policies and standards of practice.**Buffalo, NY****Location:**Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street**Recruiter:**Maryellen Demmy**Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:**AAS - Associate of Applied Science in Nursing required. 5 years as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting required. 1 year experience immunization administration, intradermal TB testing, phlebotomy, respirator fit testing, with n-95 masks, gas masks, and PAPR Hoods preferred. 1 year experience as a Occupational/Employee Health Nurse preferred. Microsoft Excel 2000- Normal User and Microsoft Windows 7 assessments required. Registered Nurse upon hire required.**For Registered Nurse clinical positions, internal applicants must have been employed in the same job title as the per diem position for which they are applying or in a comparable area of practice. Internal applicants must have a minimum of nine (9) continuous months of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted. External applicants must have a minimum of one (1) continuous year of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted.
