740515 - RN Endo/GI - Rochester, NY - 13 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare team is looking for an Endoscopy Registered Nurse to work at our client's facility in Rochester, NY.Shift: M-F; 8:00 am - 8:00 pm; on call required for overnights and weekendsJob Duties:
- Answering patient questions and addressing their concerns.
- Observing patient vital signs.
- Sedating patients before procedures.
- Recovering patients after procedures.
- Administering the necessary medication to patients.
- Completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
- Preparing the instruments, equipment, and supplies for the procedure.
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
- Providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure.
- Administering IV drips.
Requirements:
- NY license ONLY
- BLS Certification (AHA ONLY)
- 2 years previous experience.
- Telemetry Experience Required .
