*Job Title:* Registered Nurse -Endoscopy GI Lab (Travel)*Location:* Rochester, New York, 14617*Pay Rate:* Up to $58/hr.*Shift:* 10-Hour Days (Start Times: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM)*Guaranteed Hours:* 40 Hours Weekly*Job Description:*We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the GI Lab team on a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This role involves working in prep/recovery areas and assisting physicians during a variety of endoscopic procedures.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide pre-procedure preparation, recovery care, and intra-procedure support for endoscopic procedures.* Assist physicians in collaboration with LPNs during procedures such as:* EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, APC, hemorrhage control, dilation, and foreign body removal.* ERCP, stent placement/removal, biopsy, and dilation.* ESU with FNA, specimen collection.* Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to care standards throughout all stages of care.*Qualifications:** Minimum of 1 year of experience as a GI Endoscopy RN.* Proficiency with Epic EMR is required.* Active BLS certification is required.* Comprehensive knowledge of endoscopic procedures and patient care protocols.*Additional Details:** Flexible shifts ranging from 8 to 10 hours.* Free parking is provided for easy access to the hospital.Job Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $48.63 - $58.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekMedical Specialty:* GastroenterologyPhysical Setting:* Acute care* HospitalExperience:* Gastroenterology: 1 year (Required)* Endoscopy: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* RN (Required)Ability to Commute:* Rochester, NY 14617 (Required)Work Location: In person
