One-day Mondays only, with clinical and/or sterile technique experience. Must be interested in doing the circulatory duties and/or surgical technician duties. Must be willing to travel to sister surgery center in Bloomington as needed.Qualifications:•Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the State of Illinois•Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred•Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Operating Room (OR), Critical Care, or Recovery Room preferred, but not required•Excellent oral and written communication skills•Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities•Able to work independently & effectively in a team environment.•Can work in a stressful environment while continuing to be friendly and welcoming to both customers and co-workers.•BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred but not requiredResponsibilities:•Conduct patient interviews, perform pre-testing, and manage admissions and discharges with proper documentation•Circulate in the procedure room and administer IV conscious sedation as needed•Transcribe and implement physicians' orders accurately•Perform IV punctures, dispense medications, and carry out venipunctures•Monitor and recognize patient rhythms•Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff•Communicate effectively regarding patient care and personnel mattersBenefits . •BCBS PPO Health Insurance plan•Dental Insurance including orthodontic coverage •Eyecare plan to include discounts on vision care, glasses, and contact lenses•Short-term disability•Paid long-term disability and life insurance•Free Employee Assistance Program•7 Paid holidays per year•Paid Time Off (PTO) accruals that increase with length of employment•401(k) Retirement plan with generous profit-sharing contribution•Annual uniform allowance•Paid continuing education and certifications•Employer provided training and developmentPay:The starting range for this position is $33.00 - $38.31/hr. depending on skills, experience, and qualifications as well as market considerations.
