We are currently hiring experienced Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to work 1:1 in the home with a high priority Vent patient in Sleepy Hollow. We also service additional patients across the northwestern and far-north Chicago suburbs and offer both full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities. Private duty nursing is a fantastic opportunity to make money with great clients under less stress than a nursing home or hospital floor. You can obtain your full-time hours with a single patient. This is different than home care visits!
Shifts Available:
Float Nurse/PRN Nights 12AM-10AM and 10PM-10AM
Responsibilities
* Job Responsibilities Include:
* Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric and/or geriatric patients in the home setting
* Implement, develop, and document the plan of care to ensure quality and continuity of care for our patients!
* Provide health education to patients and caregivers
* Communicate effectively with the patient, caregivers, external nursing staff, and the patient's Clinical Supervisor
Job Requirements:
* Must have an active nurse license in the state of employment
* LPN or RN, home health or Private Duty Nursing experience preferred
* Pediatric, Trach, and Vent experience preferred
* Current CPR accredited by American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross
