DescriptionSCHEDULE: Full-time; 36 hours per week; Varied days Monday - Friday; Hours between 7:00 am - 5:00 pmThe RN utilizes the nursing process to provide and direct quality patient care in the Outpatient Clinic/Specialty Clinic and Infusion Center setting. He/she directs and provides patient/family teaching. The RN provides leadership when working with health team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN Float position requires the ability to work in the Outpatient Clinic, Specialty Clinic and Infusion Center as needed.RequirementsGraduate from an approved professional Registered Nursing Program. Possesses current Iowa Registered Nurse license; Certification in Basic Life Support is required within 3 months of date of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is required for Cardiology Clinic and Infusion Center. Possesses technical skills and knowledge of equipment mechanisms necessary to deliver quality nursing care; demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to policies and procedures of Nursing Service and the Hospital and Clinic.
