Dallam Hartley Counties Hospital District invites you to become an integral part of our team! We are looking for a RN to join our hospital team. Under the supervision of a physician, the RN will provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. Our Critical Access Hospital serves our rural community by offering services that include trauma care, in-patient treatment (med/surg), surgical department, and obstetrics (labor and delivery).Essential Responsibilities:
- Takes nursing histories to provide a basis for developing patient care plans.
- Completes a thorough nursing assessment and history on admissions.
- Identifies teaching/learning/discharge needs at time of admission and throughout hospitalization.
- Provides an ongoing assessment which accurately reflects physiological and psychosocial needs of the patients.
- Consistently uses input from patient, family, significant other, physician and healthcare team members.
- Provides care appropriate for the neonate and the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients served based on demonstrated knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Assesses and interprets data on neonate and the pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients' status to identify patients' requirements relative to their age-specific needs and provides care needed as stipulated in the departmental policy.
