Registered Nurse | Hospice Inpatient | 3rd shift | Full-timeFaith Hospice has a rare opportunity for a Registered Nurse who feels the call to serve those patients at the end of life and the opportunity to work as an essential part of an inpatient hospice care team who all share this rare and special gift. Our Trillium Woods Inpatient Hospice facility in Byron Center is seeking a compassionate RN to join the team full-time.Why Join Faith Hospice? Caring for them, encouraging them, comforting them and always providing the compassionate support they need and the dignity they deserve.At Faith Hospice, we utilize highly skilled nurses, medical social workers, chaplains, home health aides and volunteers to serve our patients, from medical and emotional care to pain management and bereavement counseling.ResponsibilitiesAssesses patient conditions and comfort, communicating changes to physicians, family, and caregiversImplements and revises individualized care plans, managing discomfort and providing symptom reliefAdministers medication, performs treatments, and coordinates with the Interdisciplinary Group for care planningDelivers specialized hospice training to staff, family, and caregivers for optimal patient careEducates patients and families on disease processes and provides emotional supportSupervises LPNs and paraprofessionals, maintaining communication with physicians and other disciplinesBuilds trusting relationships and completes required documentation promptlySchedule: Week 1: Sun, Mon, Thu; Week 2: Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri, SatShift: 10:30 pm - 7 amHours per pay period: 64hrsCompensation: Starting wages range from $35.48- $41.36 per hour.
