• Supervise and manage the overall operations of the nursing team during shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing and delegation of responsibilities.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, resolving issues, and addressing patient concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with department leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operations and continuity of care.
• Monitor patient care quality and safety, implementing improvements when necessary to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Assist in admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and policies.

Candidate requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
