Location: Pulaski,TN, USA
The Registered Nurse in the ICU provides direct and indirect patient care. He/she applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Registered Nurse must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers, patients and families. He/She works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality care is delivered.
Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited nursing program.
Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of six (6) months' recent experience as a professional nurse.
Required SkillsDemonstrated proficiency of 50 percent of the skills required for Level II.
Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR current or within 30 days of hireACLS current or within 1 year of hirePALS current or within 1 year of hireCompletion of a Basic Arrhythmia Class within in 1 year of hire
Required LicensesCurrent Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
