Description:RESPONSIBLE FOR: Registered Nurse, PT Night Shift NewtonSign on bonus AvailableWe currently have 10 critical care beds that help meet the complex needs of our community.Our intensive care unit at Piedmont Newton offers the following advanced therapeutic modalities: Targeted Temperature Management post-cardiac arrestInvasive and Non-Invasive Hemodynamic MonitoringHemodialysisManagement of patients having or requiring: Carotid Endarterectomies (CEA)Sepsis and multi-system organ failureHeart Failure ManagementPulmonary HypertensionVentilator managementContinuous bipap managementPost-surgical managementThe critical care unit at Piedmont Newton uses: Bedside report handoff at change of shiftPurposeful Rounding for safety and serviceQuality initiatives such as pain assessment and reassessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention strategies for central lines and indwelling urinary catheters, etc.Critical Care educator to help address competency, onboarding, and learning needsCharge nurse out of staffing or with limited patient load to facilitate daily operationsExperience the advantages of real career changeJoin Piedmont to move your career in the right direction. BLS certification required.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred Bachelors degree preferred Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum) Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
