- Maintain and follow established safety precautions and infection control procedures when performing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Monitor hygiene practices and ensure that infection control programs are carried out effectively.
- Respond to outbreaks and potential threats.
- Track and document patient and employee exposures.
- Coordinate preventative screening programs, such as influenza, TB skin testing, and hepatitis B.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for healthcare staff
