Posting SummaryProvide independent and collaborative clinical nursing care to student patients in Student Health Services ( SHS ) in the Center for Health and Wellbeing that includes: nursing assessments, patient education, and triage and treatments within an RN's scope of practice. Provide administrative nursing services for UVM students. Support the mission, vision, and philosophy of Student Health Services, CHWB , the Division of Student Affairs and University of Vermont, which include promoting an inclusive environment for students and staff of different backgrounds, as well as a healthy, positive, and supportive work environment.Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Bachelor's degree in nursing or appropriate education to support RN licensing. Specialized Vermont Board of Medical Practice approved certification and/or licensure required. Three years' related experience required. Clinical proficiency in ambulatory clinical nursing, including triage/nurse assessment and charting required. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Proficiency with email, internet, and health information database applications. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.Desirable QualificationsAnticipated Pay Range $65,000-$76,000 Other InformationSpecial Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime)
