*Job Overview*Workfit Medical Staffing PLLC is looking for a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive experience for both mother and baby. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to patient-centered care.*Responsibilities** Monitor the health and progress of laboring patients, including vital signs and fetal heart rates.* Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and patient safety.* Assist with labor management techniques, including pain relief options such as epidurals and other analgesics.* Perform catheterization as needed, ensuring sterile techniques are followed.* Provide support to mothers during delivery, including airway management when necessary.*Certs / Requirements ** Current nursing license with a specialization in Labor and Delivery or Maternal-Newborn nursing preferred.* Proven experience in IV insertion, venipuncture, and basic life support techniques.* FHM* NRP* Must have address 50 miles outside locationPlease submit your resume or reach out to Bobby at (585) ###-####.
