Join a company that cares for you, too.Employee Perks!401K Retirement Plan with Company Match, Free On-Site Parking, Generous PTO & holiday package, Life Insurance, Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceResponsibilitiesRN/LPN - Clinical Applications Specialist:Assists in the development of, and adheres to, policies and procedures for the technical support of clinical systems in accordance with HIPAA and all other applicable regulatory agency requirements.Supports EMR configuration and rollouts with clinical expertise.Assesses and helps to resolve issues with existing clinical applications.Performs on-site clinical trainings and project rollouts.Attends internal or external meetings related to project work.Performs work in cross-functional teams.Creates test scenarios for EMR systems, executes such tests, evaluates results, and provides recommendations.Gathers input and assists with developing policies and procedures for clinical system users.Assists with producing technical literature and process documentation.Generates various reports to ensure compliance and for periodic audits.Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times.Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.Supports and abides by Elderwood's Mission, Vision, and Values.May be needed to serve in a clinical care capacity during times of crisis/emergency management.Abides by Elderwood's businesses code of conduct, compliance, and HIPAA policies.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, management staff or Administrator.RN/LPN Clinical Applications Specialist - Skills/CompetenciesHighly proficient and detail-orientedEfficient time management skills and meeting deadlinesExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenDisplays ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teamsException time management skills, ability to multi-taskStrong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to communicate with various levels of users, novice to experiencedDisplays an attitude conducive of a positive, productive work environmentQualificationsRN/L - Clinical Applications Specialist:Credentialed RN or LPNMinimum of five (5) years of work-related experience with EMR applicationsEMR training & configuration experienceDemonstrated ability to provide hands on technical support in a classroom or facility user environmentMinimum of one (1) year experience in customer serviceTravel required to assigned facilities, including overnightCurrent, valid driver licenseEOE StatementWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
