We are seeking a versatile and skilled RN or LPN to join our team as a Specialty Care - Float. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care across various departments, ensuring patients receive consistent and comprehensive care regardless of their location within our facilities. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn and excel in different clinical environments.

Responsibilities:

As an RN or LPN Float, you will rotate between different departments, providing direct patient care, performing assessments, and documenting patient information accurately. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and maintain high standards of patient care. Additionally, you will adapt to various clinical settings, quickly integrating into each team and supporting colleagues as needed.

This position is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. There may be occasional requirements to cover shifts beyond regular hours, depending on departmental needs.

Qualifications:
    • Current RN or LPN license in Illinois.
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
    • Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
