Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Oncology RN to join our team. We need a compassionateand reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recoveringadults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required tomake clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. Youwould be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other whileproviding excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:
Collectcomprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation
Advocate forpatients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Analyze theassessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
Identify expectedoutcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
Act as an advocatefor patient safety.
Ensure effectivecare and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
Educate patientsregarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients andtheir families with support throughout their stay.
Job Requirements:
1 year of Recent RN experience.(Does not need to have acute care experience. IT IS STRONGLY PREFERRED HOWEVER,THEY WOULD BE OPEN FOR LTAC EXPERIENCE) (RECENT RN EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLYPREFERRED)
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able toobtain licensure prior to start is required
Current BLS required
Current ACLS preferred, required within 6 months of hire
BSN is preferred
