DescriptionRN - NEW GRAD APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED PRIOR TO GRADUATIONRegistered Nurse - Med/Surg/OB or Med/Surg/ER 72 hours per pay periodCurrent nursing students are encouraged to apply before finishing your program and/or prior to passing boards. Med/Surg RN positions qualify for our Student Loan Repayment Program of up to $360/month!Responsibilities:Plans, provides or assists and evaluates nursing care to meet patient needsProvides competent care to customers of all ages by applying knowledge of nursing skills and recognizing the importance of patient's physical, spiritual, social and psychological needs in the plan of careWill work Med/Surg in addition to cross training in the ER or OBPosition will work 12-hour shifts with a rotating shift schedule for the hospital nursing unit; includes every 3rd weekend and holiday.Competitive pay incentives for nights, weekends and holidaysRequirementsIowa Registered Nurse license is a contingency of employmentNurse Residency program enrollment upon hireThis position requires successful completion of the competency based orientationMaintains current BCLS certificationCertification in ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or TNCC - will train on site
