The Terrace at Glen at Hiland Meadows in Queensbury, NY has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work as the Manager of Resident Services. We are looking for an RN who has a passion and compassion for working with seniors, and also enjoys working with a team to bring the best quality care to the residents This is a great opportunity for a nurse looking to further develop their leadership skills or those looking to bringing their experience to our wonderful residents on a beautiful campus.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for all clinical care provided to residents in coordination with on-site LPN Case Manager. Acts as a clinical liaison to all resident primary care physicians
The day-to-day administration of the Enhanced Assisted Living Prog
Planning, development, implementation, evaluation and improvement of program services in coordination with department managers
Hiring and Management of staff and the delivery of high-quality services consistent with Assisted Living regulations
Ensure ongoing health and wellness assessments and care planning to meet changing needs of the residents
Develop strategies to ensure quality of care are provided to residents
Primary contact for all matters involving NYS DOH and Ombudsman program including but not limited to; surveys, plans of correction for deficiencies, investigations and complaints
Responsible for compliance with all pertinent Department of Health, State and Federal regulations including but not limited to all issues related to patient care, the ordering, handling, storage and administration of medications
Be willing to provide on-call coverage, and participate in holiday activities on occasion
Minimum Requirement:
Current and valid New York State RN license
Associates Degree in Nursing
3+ years of experience as a RN acceptable to NYS Dept of Health
3+ year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Preferred Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
Strong conflict mediation skills
Excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts and different departments
Highest level of engagement within a team setting to promote a positive work environment
Promote and embrace the culture of the facility
Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing nursing and nursing support staff
Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field
Pay range: $35.80-$52.17
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
