A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their one of the outpatient facilities in Brooklyn as a Nurse Manager. Responsibilities: The Nurse Manager (RN) will:
- Provide nursing care
- Monitor, coordinate, and adjust the staffing assignments of the satellite health center's clinical areas to meet patients' needs effectively
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, performance, and training needs to assure the proper level of support for staff development and the optimal functioning of each clinical area
- Oversee inventory control and maintain adequate levels of supplies, equipment, and instruments in patient care areas
- Assist with productivity reports on a weekly basis. Provides monthly procedure reports.
- Work with staff to address patient complaints and manages patient flow so that patient satisfaction is always maintained as highest priority.
- Participate in the Quality Management Program, Joint Commission, Infection prevention Control and Manager's planning and operational activities
- Ensure telehealth visits are scheduled accordingly based on health center's protocol
- Monitor Electronic Medical Record staff buckets
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a Management / Supervisory role
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Infection Control certification
- Experience in an Adult Medicine, OB/GYN, and/or Pediatric role/setting
Desired Skills:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual
