RN Occupational Clinical Manager - Los Alamos, NM Job Type: Full Time Shifts: Days Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our Occupational Medicine Clinic. The Clinic Manager will oversee the delivery of comprehensive occupational health services, ensuring the highest standards of care for our employees while adhering to regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of safety and wellness. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the occupational medicine clinic, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement occupational health programs, including injury prevention, health promotion, and compliance with occupational health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the safety department to identify workplace hazards and develop strategies to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Oversee the management of workers' compensation cases, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and communication with relevant parties.
  • Conduct assessments and surveillance for occupational health risks and implement appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of employment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within an occupational health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health regulations, including OSHA standards and workers' compensation laws.
  • Experience developing and managing health programs and working with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
