As a Nurse in our clinic you will provide skilled nursing care in coordination with licensed providers while promoting a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness. You will administer medications, maintain a safe nursing area, and provide education and resources to patients and families based on their needs.

For this position in particular, you will work alongside a provider and medical assistant in providing urgent care to patients. You will also be responsible for triage calls for the clinic and other locations as needed.

Our ideal candidate has the ability to make decisions and take action in stressful situations, while providing outstanding customer service. He or she needs to have excellent communication skills and must be a team player.

About This Position:

Located on Northwest 16th Street just across the Snake River from the I-84 exit in Ontario, Fruitland Health Plaza serves the rural area of SW Idaho and SE Oregon. In addition to urgent care, this location provides family medicine, occupational medicine and orthopedic services.

General Requirements:

RN:

General Requirements:

  • Nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Education:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE

License/Certification:

  • Must have an RN license in the state of Idaho issued prior to hire date.

  • Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

LPN:

General Requirements:

  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Licensed in State of Idaho as an Practical Nurse (LPN) and as defined by the State Board of Nursing.

  • Must provide licensure or proof of application in the State of Oregon within six months of starting

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
