Weekly Pay Range - $2055 To $2284 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Outpatient Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 5x8 Hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: 2 years of outpatient RN experience required License: NYS RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EPIC experience highly preferred Job Description: - Provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research.- Deliver patient care by incorporating principles of Relationship-Centered Care.- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.- Educate patients and caregivers on their plan of care, health promotion, and disease prevention.- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Manage patient assignments, demonstrating effective resource allocation.- Role model actions such as Admission Welcome, Bedside Shift Report, and Purposeful Hourly Rounding.- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.- Use evidence-based practices to improve patients' perceptions of care.- Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying opportunities for improvement.- Implement process improvement strategies and participate in quality improvement projects.- Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate with the management team as needed.- Document accurately and thoroughly in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.- Contribute to professional development and create a supportive environment for clinical colleagues.
