Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, the Staff RN answers inquiry calls within Pine Grove's National Service Center, gathers the necessary clinical information, and assists with the arrangement of services and referrals while providing needed follow up. Conducts clinical assessments for all Pine Grove programs (both in person and/via telehealth). Documents clinical information in the electronic medical record; discusses clinical information with providers and makes appropriate referrals. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the prospective patients served. Also possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each prospective patients' requirements relative to their needs. Completes all associated administrative tasks and understands the department's computer programs. Maintains an orderly work area and confidentiality at all times. Also fulfills other duties as assigned by the Director. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with patients, families, and visitors while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Understands and is able to effectively communicate information about Pine Grove's treatment programs. Collaborates with physicians and treatment program staff regarding the appropriateness of admission and services. Adheres to the policies and procedures of Pine Grove. Adheres to the expectations of professional boundaries at Pine Grove. Requires on-call time.

- Demonstrates a courteous, polite and respectful image in all interactions with co-workers, families, referrals, and a patient on the phone and in person (i.e. greet patients pleasantly, verifies information for accuracy, and listens carefully to determine customer needs).

Qualifications:Education/Skills Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited non-online university required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Work Experience: Three or more years of experience in clinical nursing is required. Behavioral Health care experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE- Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS
Mental Demands: Must possess excellent verbal and written skills. Frequent periods of concentration are required and attention to detail is needed. Must be capable of working autonomously. Must be capable of handling high pressure situations and have the ability to perform repetitive tasks, cooperate with others and demonstrate initiative. The position requires being empathetic to the needs of others, and responding appropriately. Strong interpersonal skills are also needed.
