Details Client NameSt. Mary's Regional Medical Center - MS Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyLTC Job ID29955787 Job TitleRN Post Acute LTC - NIGHTS - (DYP) Weekly Pay$1970.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/09/2024 End Date03/10/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 2-3 years of previous RN experience preferred License: Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required Certifications: Associates in Nursing Must-Have: - Strong teamwork and communication skills- Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week- Ability to float to other units as needed Job Description: - Collaborate with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment.- Provide direct and indirect care for a 31-bed specialized unit focused on Alzheimer's/dementia residents, using both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques.- Offer care with an understanding that behaviors associated with Alzheimer's/Dementia can be valid forms of communication.- Deliver needed care in a homelike environment to residents requiring long-term placement.- Work on a 42-bed unit providing short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services for patients recovering from various medical conditions, including fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, and strokes.- Perform nursing services including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.- Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to optimize care delivery. - Participate in up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation.- Holiday coverage is required.- Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the job location.
