Join us today for benefits that kick in day one, tuition reimbursement, continuing career development, and much more!Position Highlights:Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life convergeAdvancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career developmentWork/Life: Positions and shifts to accommodate all schedulesWhat you will do:Knowledge of caring for a Hemodialysis PatientAssuring that appropriate screening is done pre-dialysisAssessment, documentation, medication, and blood product administration, management of the unstable patient, initiation of emergency responses and access of central lines if necessary, including CVAD dressing changesManagement of HD patient censusObtain consent if not on general consentCommunicating with the providers and ensuring orders are activeReceiving hand off report from the floor RN's and then performing hand off report to the floor RN's post treatmentCoordinating patients getting to the dialysis unit and assist with transportation as necessaryQuality nursing care is rendered to all patients in accordance with the New York Nurse Practice Act, National Standards of Practice, and Nursing and Clinical Service standards of care and practice.What you will need:A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York (or plan to obtain if recent/future graduate).ASN required, BSN preferred.BLS Certification.Effective verbal and written communication.Pay Range: $36.50 - $49.95Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
