Position Overview: Working under the direction of supervisor and/or nurse manager, directs and takes responsibility for total care of residents on a team. Responsible for implementing interventions designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care. All work is performed within a resident centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents and their families. Functions as a role model for staff. Requirements:
- Current RN license
- Previous experience preferred
- Demonstrates position communication skills
- Ability to relate to staff in a professional manner
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Computer experience preferred
- Demonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs
- Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred.
- Must be able to interact well with physicians and other health care professionals
- Able to exercise sound professional judgment
- Able to respond to emergency
