Unit NotesNursing Director- Surgical Services. Primarily day shift with (24/7 responsibility required). Including weekends and holidays Minimum Education: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of New York. Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Master s Degree in Nursing/Nursing Administration preferred or commitment to attain degree. Minimum Experience:Five years of clinical experience including two years in area of specialization; one year in nursing leadership position preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Ongoing current RN registration BLS required Certifications specific to clinical area of responsibility, i.e.; ACLS, PALS Physical Requirements: Standing and walking most of the day, lifting, moving patients and equipment.
