Details Client NameDominican Hospital - ML Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyCVICU Job ID29949120 Job TitleRN (Registered Nurse) Weekly Pay$3024.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date02/03/2025 End Date05/05/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend (EOW), First to Float Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: - Recent and proficient experience in immediate post-op cardiac surgery recovery- Knowledge of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) preferred but not required Job Description: - Take a proctored CVICU exam and participate in a Zoom interview with the manager prior to an offer.- Work in a mixed medical-surgical unit.- Manage 16 beds/rooms.- Handle an average of 1 cardiac surgery patient and 12 additional general med-surg ICU patients per day.- Collaborate with average daily staffing of 1 cardiothoracic surgeon and 1 CTS Physician Assistant.- Perform patient care for common diagnoses such as mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacements, CABG, AAA repair.- Attend three shifts of orientation.- Expect weekend requirements every other weekend, with holiday and stand-by call requirements.- Be the first to float to other units as needed.- Adhere to the dress code with navy blue scrubs.- Work within an acute care setting using the Cerner EMR system.- Understand and collaborate within a team that does not use Medical Assistants or CNAs.- Comply with a cancellation policy permitting three shift cancellations per assignment.
