This isperformed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under thedirection and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/ClinicalManager.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing andcurrently licensed in FloridaOne years' nursing experience, preferredAcceptance of philosophy and goals of this AgencyAbility to exercise initiative and independent judgmentMust have current CPR certification, TB test, HealthStatement/physical clearing to work, and eligible Level 2 backgroundRESPONSIBILITIES:Provides services in accordance with the plan of careMakes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluatesthe patient's nursing needsInitiates the plan of care and necessary revisionsProvides those services requiring substantial specialized nursingskillsInitiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursingproceduresPrepares clinical and progress notes for each patient visitand summaries of care conferences on his/her patients in a timely manner as perAgency policyInforms personnel of changes in the condition and needs ofthe patientCounsels the patient and family/significant others inmeeting nursing and related needsParticipates in and presents in-service programsUnderstands and adheres to established Agency policies andproceduresProcesses orders and notifies physician of patient needs andchanges in condition.
