Qualifications:
- Graduateof an accredited Registered Nurse school of nursing
- Current and active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
- Knowledge of Geriatric Nursing required
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support in accordance with American Heart Association or American Red Cross standards required
- Knowledge of growth and development across the life span
Responsibilities:

This role involves comprehensive oversight of resident care, regulatory compliance, team supervision, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Management and Supervision: Supervises and evaluates resident care, assigning tasks to staff according to qualifications and resident needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing supplies.
- Clinical and Patient Care: Provides direct patient care, conducts resident assessments, administers medications, and initiates corrective actions when needed. Also coordinates with physicians and assists in emergencies.
- Safety and Health: Ensures safety through infection control, medication management, and adherence to facility policies, including resident rights to privacy and dignity.
- Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education, attends meetings, and adheres to facility dress codes.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintains accurate records, revises care plans, completes discharge documentation, and adheres to documentation standards.
- General and Non-Essential Functions: Assists in policy interpretation, participates in evaluations, and may be assigned to specific facility areas.
This role requires professionalism, dependability, and cooperative work with all stakeholders to maintain high-quality resident care and compliance.
