After opening the link, scroll down and click each box for additional benefit information.Qualifications and requirementsApplicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate orbachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.*Additional requirements include:* * One (1) or more years of experience in an acute care setting and/or geriatric setting preferred. * Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or) obtained within 90 days after hire date * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. * Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.Department/Unit Summary * 12 Bed Unit * 1:6 Patient Ratio * 10-12-day LOS. * Patients receive therapy daily, participate in activities and communal meals. * Therapy staff has a large presence on this unit as well and works collaboratively with nursing. * Option to work only every 6thweekend, no mandatory overtime (3 shift per week only). * Extremely flexible scheduling options. * Provider coverage on unit to provide nursing support 24/7. * Admissions and discharges are planned well in advance, so it is much less turnover for patients than an inpatient setting.About our Health SystemLake Cumberland Regional Hospital is a 295-bed hospital located in Somerset, Kentucky, and is part ofLifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed tomaking communities healthier®with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
