This leadership role requires ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and nursing home policies, while maintaining the highest standard of care for residents. The supervisor will mentor nursing staff, address clinical concerns, and manage daily operations within the facility.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff across all shifts to deliver exceptional care to residents.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies.
- Coordinate patient care, handle emergencies, and perform resident assessments.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise certified nursing assistants and support staff.
- Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Foster a positive work culture and promote teamwork.
Schedule:
- Full-time, covering all shifts: 7 AM - 3 PM, 3-11 PM, and 11 PM - 7 AM.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
