- Maintaining approved standards of resident care in the facility on his/her tour of duty.
- Overseeing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines which govern long term care.
- Meeting with the nursing staff, as well as support personnel, in planning the department's services, programs, and activities.
- Performing administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.
- Participating in surveys/inspections made by authorized government agencies.
Registered Nurse: RN Supervisor Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Current RN registration with the New York State Board of Regents.
- Head Nurse, Supervisory and/or Administrative experience.
- Geriatric nursing experience.
